The ToughOut Thunderstorm Gazebo 3 × 4.5m in Black is the heaviest-duty pop-up shelter in the ToughOut range, built for people who put a gazebo up and take it down again and again — stallholders, sports clubs, schools and families. The steel frame opens without tools, and three detachable side walls are included so you can close off whichever sides you need.
The canopy is 800D woven oxford with a 265GSM PVC coating for enhanced UV and water resistance, and the side walls are 210D woven oxford, 10.5m in total across three sides. The frame uses 40 × 40mm steel tube at 0.6mm wall thickness, 0.55mm oval-profile cross bars, and 35 × 35mm steel legs that adjust through four height settings with quick-release buttons.
On the ground it takes up 4.46m × 2.92m and stands 3.31m at the peak — enough for a trestle table with standing room either side. This is the usual choice for weekend markets, sideline shelter at sports grounds, birthday parties, and community or trade event stands. Black is the usual pick where you want the stall itself, not the gazebo, to catch the eye.
Before you set up: the Thunderstorm Gazebo is temporary outdoor shelter, not a permanent structure. Peg down or weight all four legs every time you set it up, take the canopy off before strong wind, and do not leave the gazebo standing unattended or overnight. Damage caused by wind or by use outside these conditions is not covered.
Yes. Three detachable 210D woven oxford side walls are supplied, 10.5m of wall in total. The fourth side is left open, so you can face the opening whichever way suits your site.
The gazebo covers 4.46m × 2.92m on the ground and stands 3.31m at the peak. Allow extra room around all four legs for pegs or weights. Note the actual footprint is slightly under the 4.5m × 3m marketed size, so measure to 4.46m × 2.92m when you are planning a tight space.
No. The Thunderstorm Gazebo is designed as temporary shelter. Take it down, or at least remove the canopy, before strong wind, and do not leave it standing unattended or overnight.
No tools are needed for the frame — it concertinas open and the legs lock at four heights with quick-release buttons. The complete gazebo weighs 35.5kg (frame 27kg, canopy 5.5kg, side walls 1.5kg), so two people are recommended for set-up and pack-down.

First offer the gazebo itself is ok, as described. Purchased additional sandbags which are unusable due to zip issues with misaligned zip teeth and zip stitches to close making the zips not able to close. Customer service response is slow and still not resolved.
Be sure to shop via Treasure Box as this is actually where Tough Out is, just branded different. My gazebo box came stating ‘proudly presented by Treasure Box’ & they actually sold it $70 cheaper. My questions were answered as they operated as a different sales channel. I found it odd, the operate from the same exact location and office in Silverdale and the box arrived branded in a so called ‘different company’ logo. Go figure!
Great Gazebo but thought there would of been guide rope and pegs included disappointed that they were not included.
Good quality for the price, quick shipping no hassle at all. Would happily buy again. Thanks
We had the gazebos we purchased up where there was no wind and rain and we already noticed some tearing occurring in the material. Not happy about that. Cos I thought they were meant to be thunderstorm quality. It was a beautiful hot day when we had our gazebos up.
